GLOBAL TALENT VISA INDEPENDENT PROGRAM (GTI)
The Global Talent Visa-Independent Program (GTI) was created to give highly qualified and talented people a priority visa pathway so they can immigrate to Australia permanently. The goal of the government is to draw top-tier talent from all around the world to what are referred to as “target sectors.”
In order to draw in highly qualified and talented personnel, the Department collaborates with Australian institutions, business associations, and state and territorial governments. Major cities including London, Shanghai, Singapore, Berlin, and Washington, DC all have Global Talent Officers. These officers coordinate with important sectors of the economy to invite people to apply for the GTI programme.
The Department is seeking candidates with expertise in one of the seven target areas who can earn a wage that is at least as high as the fair work high-income criterion or who are high-achieving recent PhD, Masters, or Honours graduates.
