TASMANIA 190 VISA
The Skilled Nominated visa (Subclass 190) permits skilled professionals to permanently live and work in Tasmania.
You will receive five more points if you are nominated by Tasmania for this visa, which will assist you in satisfying the Department of Home Affairs’ 65-point pass mark. If the Tasmanian government assigns you this visa, you must dwell in Tasmania for two years after the visa is granted.
For the program year 2021–22, Tasmania’s nomination quota is Subclass 491 – 2200 spots.

Approximately 500 of these locations are planned to be utilized for applications from the 2020-21 program year.
You must fulfill the following requirements :
You must have worked in Tasmania for at least 6 months before applying for a state nomination. You must work at least 35 hours a week in one full-time job or two or more part-time jobs, and you must be able to back up your claims with evidence.
You and your dependents must currently reside in Tasmania and provide proof of a genuine desire to remain in Tasmania.
Your job must be on the Tasmanian Skilled Occupations List (TSOL) – (please note that candidates must have English Proficiency listed on the TSOL, but not those included in “Other criteria and comments”).
Your employer must be a well-established firm that has been operating in Tasmania for the previous 12 months and there must be a real, continuous need for your job within the company (including a minimum 12-month contract with at least 3 months remaining at the time you apply for nomination).
Your earnings and working circumstances must be comparable to those of an Australian citizen or permanent resident, and your income or wages must be comparable to the market salary rate.
